Free! Walking Tour Guides To Every City You’d Want To Visit

I’ve just discovered one of those marvelous travel websites that really does give value above and beyond the call of duty.

You know how, when you get to a new town or city, you want to take a look around, a walking tour?

In the real tourist hotspots there are plenty of commercial operators willing to assist in that regard.  Nuffink’ wrong wif that is wot I sez. We all have to graft a few bob ‘ere and there. It’s probably a nice little earner for the guides.

Of course there are also the “free” tours.  Yeah, right! Or more likely “Yeah? Nah!”. You are “expected” to give a tip.  You don’t have to, of course, but if you elect to give the money a miss you look like a right old miserable git.

So here’s an answer.

Go to https://www.gpsmycity.com . They have pre-packed self-guided walking tours to just about every town or city you might ever wish to stroll around.

Magic!

I’m sure they are pulling in a quid here and there somehow – though on a quick look I can’t see how – but to be honest I would happily pay a few bucks for one of their tours.

Haven’t tried them yet – bloody lock-down – but as soon as I can I shall give it a go and report back.
